Let's Get In Touch With Me!

I’m Esther, a social justice journalist with over 12 years of experience reporting from East Africa, including Uganda, South Sudan, Kenya, and Rwanda. My work spans breaking news, human rights, development, and social innovation, with a deep focus on amplifying underrepresented
voices.

I report for RFG Magazine, The Niles.org, and other platforms committed to meaningful, ethical journalism. I was privileged to witness and report on the birth of the world’s newest nation, South Sudan, in 2011 — a historic experience that deeply shaped my passion for people- centered storytelling.

Today, I blend field reporting with media education — mentoring young journalists and advocating for ethical, inclusive storytelling across borders.
